Your photos never leave your device

Make My Passport Photo runs entirely in your web browser. When you add a photo, it is opened and processed by your own device. It is never uploaded to our servers or to anyone else's. We have no copy of your photo, no thumbnail, no backup, and no way to see it. When you close the tab, the photo is gone. This also applies to the automatic face alignment and background replacement features, which run on your device using a small AI model downloaded to your browser.

What we do process

Purchases are handled by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller and processes your payment details and email address under its own privacy policy. We never see your card details. When you unlock downloads, your license key is checked against Lemon Squeezy's license service, and a small marker is saved in your browser's local storage so you stay unlocked on that device. That marker contains no personal information.

Hosting and analytics

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses at the network level to deliver the page and protect it from abuse, as any web host does. If we use analytics, it is a cookieless, privacy respecting service that reports aggregate counts such as page views, not individual profiles. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell or share any data.

Third party resources

The page loads fonts and two open source libraries from public content delivery networks. Your browser requests those files directly, which shares your IP address with those networks in the same way as loading any website resource.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or store your photos or personal data, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. For anything related to a purchase, Lemon Squeezy is the data controller for the transaction. For any privacy question, contact us at support@makemypassportphoto.com and we will respond promptly.
